‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’s Ghanashyam Nayak aka Nattu Kaka hospitalised; deets inside

‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ is hands down one of the most loved sitcoms on the small screen. The show has an immense fan following and fans are eager to watch it after a long time due to the lockdown. It was just a few days back when the show went on air again, however, there have been some major casting changes. Popular characters Anjali Mehta and Sodhi have been replaced by new actors on the show. And looks like it will take a while for the fans to meet their favourite character Nattu Kaka which is played by Ghanashyam Nayak.

Reportedly, the senior actor has been hospitalised after he developed uneasiness in his neck’s glands. The actor will be undergoing surgery today.

Talking about Nattu Kaka’s health, a source close to the production house, told Times of India, “A few days ago, Ghanashyam sir was detected with a lump in his neck, and the doctor advised surgery. He will recuperate soon and return back to the show. Nattu kaka is one of the interesting characters in the show and people love watching him. He is a senior actor and masses enjoy his comic timing. Nattu Kaka had also expressed his wish to continue working when the government barred 65 years of age from visiting sets.” Ghanashyam will be undergoing surgery today.
