‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah‘ is one of the most loved shows on Indian television. Amidst the lockdown, even the re-run of this show is garnering same love from its dedicated audience. But there’s this one story that is doing the rounds of the social media that may disappoint the fans of this popular sit-com.
The latest reports suggest that Gurucharan Singh who plays the role of Roshan Singh Sodhi has quit the show. Read on to know the details.
A source close to the show told Vickey Lalwani, “Gurucharan took the call about two weeks back. He thought about it for quite some time, and only when he was certain that he didn’t want to continue this time- he went ahead and officially informed the production house, Neela Tele Films.” The source also stated that its personal reasons behind the actor’s decision to quit the show.

Interestingly, Sodhi had quit the show previously but was brought back. There are some reports also claiming that Sodhi hasn’t quit the show and he is very much a part of the Gokuldham Society family.
However, with no official confirmation from the actor or from the production house yet, all we can do is wait and watch.
