‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’s Ghanshyam Nayak aka Nattu Kaka was hospitalised after he developed uneasiness in his neck’s glands. He underwent surgery recently but has assured that he is better now.
In an interview with Times of India, the actor said, “I am much better now. I have got admitted to Suchak Hospital in Malad. Today is the first day that I have eaten food after the surgery that was performed on me on Monday. The first three days were tough, but I am now only looking ahead in life.”
Talking about his surgery, the actor revealed that eight knots were removed from his neck. He said, “Eight knots were removed. And, I really don’t know how so many had formed. Those knots have been sent for further testing but I have faith in God, jo bhi karega achcha hi karega.”

He also said that doctors have advised him a month’s bed rest once he is discharged from the hospital. He also added that he may not be able to get back on sets before Navratri.
‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ is one of the longest-running shows of television and Nattu Kaka’s character is also one of the most entertaining and loved characters. He has been winning audiences’ hearts for 12 years.
