Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actress Priya Ahuja and director of the show, Malav Rajda renewed their wedding vows on November 19 it was their 10th wedding anniversary, yesterday. The couple had a sangeet, mehendi and other ceremonies at a suburban hotel. For the wedding, Priya was in a pastel lehenga with gold embellishments, while Malav was in a white and gold sherwani with a pink stole. The couple has a two-year-old son, Ardaas, and he was in colour-coordinated with his father for the wedding ceremony. The entire cast of Taarak Mehta were also present at the event. Actors like Dilip Joshi (Jethalal), Palak Sindhwani (Sonu), Nidhi Bhanushali among others attended the ceremony. In fact, Palak tied the holy knot (gathbandhan) for Priya and Malav.

Priya told Times of India, “People have gone through tough times and I felt this will be the perfect occasion for us to organise everything and invite people. My husband is extremely romantic too. Also, it was a happy moment as our Taarak family celebrated with us.”

Priya and Malav first met on the sets of TMKOC where the latter was the director and Ahuja played the role of Rita Reporter. They got hitched in November 2011, and welcomed their son in December 2019.
