#9pm9minutes: Hina Khan, Karishma Tanna, Prince Narula and others light up candles and diyas in support

The entire nation applauded the medical staff and essential service providers on 22 March. Now, Prime Miniter Narendra Modi had come up with another initiative on 5 April. This time everyone was asked to light up candles and diyas outside their houses. Television celebrities like Hina Khan, Karishma Tanna and Prince Narula also came out to participate in the ‘9 pm-9 minutes’ call.

For ‘9 pm-9 minutes’ call, PM Modi had requested the nation to give their 9 minutes on Sunday. He had asked the citizens to switch off the lights of their homes and come out in their balcony or doors to light up candles, diyas or even use the flashlights of their phones.

Across India, people were seen flashing lights and diyas everywhere. Television celebs also contributed to this initiative. Hina Khan, Karishma Tanna, Divyanka Tripathi, Asim Riaz, Himanshi Khurana, Paras Chhabra, Himanshi Khurana all came out to do their bit.
