The Empire: Drashti Dhami stuns as a regal warrior princess in the first look of the magnum opus; watch video

The first look of Drashti Dhami from her digital debut The Empire is out. Drashti is seen in a never-seen-before avatar in this magnum opus. Disney+ Hotstar has released a video revealing the first look of Drashti where she can be seen as a mighty warrior. Also, the actress took to her Instagram handle to reveal the look.

“No one is above family. No sacrifice is big enough for #TheEmpire,” she captioned it. In the video, she could be seen wearing regal outfits with heavy jewellery.

We all know Drashti is a popular face on television and she had become a household name with her show Madhubala. Now, she is all set to spell her magic on OTT as well. She plays a warrior princess for the first time in her acting career. The show is created by director Nikkhil Advani of Emmay Entertainment. The Empire traces the beginning of a dynasty. It is mounted on a scale that has been never seen in the digital space before and it promises a spectacular visual experience.

Talking about her look in The Empire, Drashti Dhami said, “I have played a myriad of characters in my years in television but this is a first for me. My look in The Empire reflects royalty but also allows her to shapeshift into the warrior she can be. Every look test was a thrilling experience that helped me understand her even more.”

The show is co-directed by Mitakshara Kumar and produced by Monisha Advani and Madhu Bhojwani (Emmay Entertainment). It also stars Kunal Kapoor, Dino Morea and Shabana Azmi.
