The Family Man: Manoj Bajpayee starrer renewed for season 3?

The Family Man Season 1 released in 2019 and after a long wait, finally, on May 19, Amazon Prime Video dropped the trailer of its second season. Manoj Bajpayee, Priyamani, Sharad Kelkar, and Sharib Hashmi are reprising their roles while Samantha Akkineni is the new addition to the family of The Family Man who is playing a bold role with grey shades. Going by trailer, it seems she is playing suicide bomber.

For the fans out there, the series doesn’t end with the second season. Yes, you heard it right! As per reports, it will be renewed for season 3.

A source told Pinkvilla that Amazon Prime has renewed The Family Man series for a third season. “The top executives have seen the content and are happy with the way season 2 has shaped up. Given the cliffhangers and the growing fanbase of the franchise, the makers are definitely in the process of announcing a season 3 soon,”said the source.

The source also further said that Raj and DK have already locked the basic story for season 3 where Manoj Bajpayee will continue reprising his character of Srikant Tiwari.

Raj and DK are currently busy with their web-series Sunny with Shahid Kapoor. They are also planning a film with Shah Rukh Khan. The source said that they are ready with their script, including the dialogue draft, for Shah Rukh Khan and when the actor says yes, they will start the pre-production work.

Coming back to The Family Man Season 2, it will premiere on June 4 on Amazon Prime Video.
