The Heroine: Indraneil Sengupta to star in Karan Johar’s upcoming web series?

Popular television and film actor Indraneil Sengupta was last seen in the web series The Gone Game. And if the latest buzz is anything to go by then he will be next seen in Karan Johar’s upcoming web series The Heroine.

Produced by Karan Johar’s Dharmatic Entertainment, The Heroine will mark the digital debut of Madhuri Dixit. And reportedly Indraneil has bagged a role in this upcoming web series.

According to a report in Telly Chakkar, Indraneil will be playing a pivotal role in KJo’s The Heroine. And going by the same report, Suhasini Mulay has been roped in to play the role of Madhuri’s mother in the show.

Apparently, the series is a suspenseful drama that revolves around the life of a global superstar. The series will be helmed by Sri Rao. Previously talking about being a part of the series, Madhuri had said, “The reach and diversity in the audience that the platform provides are unparalleled and Karan is like a family to me. So when I got this opportunity to play the protagonist in the series I couldn’t resist it.”

The Dhak Dhak girl’s fans are eagerly looking forward to watching her digital debut. And it will be exciting to see what role Indraneil plays in it. However, with no official announcement about Indraneil being a part of The Heroine, all we can do is wait and watch.
