The Kapil Sharma Show 4: Srishty Rode to Sumona Chakravarti, meet the cast and exciting new characters

Kapil Sharma’s popular show The Kapil Sharma Show is all set to make a comeback. On Wednesday, Sony TV shared a new video on Instagram and revealed the cast of the new season of The Kapil Sharma Show.

Kapil Sharma will play the role of Kappu Sharma. Sumona Chakravarty will play his wife Bindu. Chandan Prabhakar will be seen as Kappu’s friend Chandan. Kiku Sharma will play the role of ‘mohalle ki dhoban’ Gudiya.

There are new members joining this season. Kapil introduced the new character Maski, who is Kappu’s friend Chandan’s wife. Goli is Kappu’s brother-in-law, Roopmati is Kappu’s mother-in-law and Ghazal (played by Srishty Rode) is ‘mohalle ki raunak’. Gharchoddas is ustaad ji and Sundarda is Kappu’s father-in-law.

Krushna Abhishek is not a part of the upcoming season. Earlier, speaking with Pinkvilla, Krushna confirmed that he will not be returning to the show this season. The comedian was quoted as saying, “Not doing it. Agreement issues.”

Last week, Kapil shared the teaser of the upcoming season of the show and wrote, “New season of #thekapilsharmashow #comingsoon #tkss 10^th September every Saturday n Sunday only on @sonytvofficial.” Fans have been sharing their excitement. One of the fans had commented on Kapil’s post saying, “Oye hoye.” Another fan commented, “King is back.” “Love it,” wrote a fan. Another one commented, “Wow.”

On Monday, Kapil took to Instagram and shared pictures with the guests from his first episode of the upcoming season. The comedian shared his happiness as he will be seen hosting the Golden girls of CommonWealth Games 2022.
