‘The Kapil Sharma Show’: Bharti Singh resumes shooting for the comedy show post arrest in drugs case

After comedian Bharti Singh was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in a drug case, there were reports floating that she will be banned from ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’. Putting all the speculations and rumours to rest, Bharti has returned back to shoot for the show.

She shared the news of her return on her Instagram handle as she wrote, “Red is the colour of Bonding of 2 Hearts. ❤️ #kapilsharmshow every sat-sun 9.30 pm”. Bharti was dressed in a red outfit with heavy jewellery.

Earlier, while talking about the speculation that Bharti may be dropped from the show, Krushna Abhishek had told Times of India, “I haven’t heard of any such discussion or development from the channel’s end. No such decision has been taken by the channel. Even if something like this happens, I will support Bharti. She should get back to work. Jo ho gaya woh ho gaya. We stand by Bharti and both Kapil (Sharma) and I are with her. She has my unconditional support.”

Bharti and her husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa were arrested by the NCB after 86.5 gms of ganja was seized from their house. Later, they were granted bail for a bond of Rs 15,000 each.
