Actor Dilip Joshi who is known for playing Jethalal in TMKOC has taken the first shot of COVID 19 vaccine. Yes, this means he is now under the shield of the COVID vaccine. He shared this news on his Instagram handle. Not only Dilip Joshi, but his wife also got her first dosage of COVID 19 vaccine along with him. Dilip posted his picture post-covid-19 vaccination and expressed “Asli mazza ‘JAB’ ke saath aata hai!”
He also thanked the hospital where he got vaccinated for their smooth experience. Dilip in his caption further encouraged everybody to take the vaccination as soon as possible. He appealed to everyone to take the vaccine if they qualify the age bracket or know someone who qualifies the same. He wrote “My wife and I took our first dose of the Covid vaccine. If you qualify or know someone who qualifies, make sure to get vaccinated or help others along the process.”
Soon after Dilip’s post, Taarak Mehta’s director Malav Rajda applauded and praised the actor in the comments section for creating awareness about COVID-19 vaccination. The director said, “Waah waah…(with applause emojis)”. The actor was also praised by his fans, while some lauded him for creating awareness others appreciated his acting skills.

A fan took it to another level and said he won’t face any inconvenience now caused by coronavirus now in typical ‘Jethalal’ accent. He wrote, “Ab aapko koi TAPLEEK nahi hogi.” Another fan asked him if he has got his onscreen ‘bapuji’ aka Champaklal vaccinated or not and wrote ‘Bapuji ko vaccine Diya k nahi? Aye Jethiyaa.”
