Priya Ahuja, who plays the role of Rita Reporter in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is on a sabbatical from the show. The actress is enjoying motherhood and her family life. Being an avid social media user, Priya keeps giving glimpses of her life to fans. And her recent post on body positivity has caught everyone's attention.

Maldives vacay with family

The actress recently took a vacation to the Maldives with her husband Malav Rajda and her one and half-year-old Ardaas. The 'Rajda family' had a blast in the Maldives. Priya slipped into a bikini during their trip as she embraced and flaunted her stretch marks. She also penned an empowering message on body positivity for all the new mothers in town.

Motivating other mommies!

She encouraged every woman to accept herself and the changes that the body goes through after childbirth. In a long note, Priya wrote, "Yes, I am laughing literally lol. Laughing that yes I don’t have a perfect-looking body now. I have stretch marks I have loose skin n fat too, but I’m proud of all that because I have given birth! For 9 months this tummy was his home! My body took care of him. And yes, till now it hasn’t completely recovered inside out! But I feel it’s still beautiful!! Cheers to all the mommies n all the women who gave birth. Who kept someone else’s life above theirs."

Marriage

Priya Ahuja tied the knot with Malav Rajda back in 2011. Malav is one of the directors of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. The two came close to each other during the show and decided to take their relationship top-notch with marriage.

Arrival of first baby, Ardaas

After 8 years of a happy marriage, Priya and Malav were blessed with a baby boy in December 2019. Ever since then, the couple is enjoying this new phase of parenthood.
