TMKOC: Disha Vakani’s reaction to grown up Bhavya Gandhi is hilarious

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah (TMKOC) is one of the most followed shows on Indian television. The show has been running for the last 13 years and continues to rake in numbers. The loyal fans of the show have been waiting impatiently for the return of Disha Vakani aka Dayaben on the show. While there seems to be no progress on that end, Bhavya Gandhi aka former Tapu recently revealed how Disha reacted to his grown up look in a call with him recently.

Bhavya was asked if he is still in touch with Disha, to which he said that he is. In fact, he claimed that he is in touch with everyone from the team. “We definitely have these video calls sometimes, and everytime, she sees me, she goes, ‘Aahhh, whatt, beard?'” he told TOI while recounting his calls with Disha. He added, “I say (to Disha) yes, I’ve got a beard now. She has never seen me in a beard, so she gets shocked. I say, ‘Haan, aave gaiyo’ (Yes, they’ve grown) and I am growing them more. (sic).”

Meanwhile, Bhavya also refuted rumours of him being thrown out of the show due to his unprofessional behavior. He said that while anyone can say anything, he knows the truth. He cited that he wanted to experiment more and expand his horizons as an artist and hence, wanted to give himself a chance.

Bhavya is currently focusing on films.
