Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah fame Munmun Dutta has been in the news for her rumoured relationship with 10-years younger co-star Raj Anadkat. On 13^th March, rumours were rife that Munmun and Raj got engaged in an intimate ceremony in Vadodara. However, the actress has dismissed the rumours and shared a strong statement reacting to it.

Talking to India forums, the actress called it a piece of fake news and said, “This is utterly ridiculous! There’s not an ounce of truth to any of this. I refuse to waste my energy and attention on such fake news.”

Earlier today, News 18 confirmed the actors getting engaged in Vadodara. A source close to them had said to the portal, “Munmun and Raj got engaged in a low-key ceremony outside Mumbai. The engagement took place just a few days back. The two apparently exchanged rings in Vadodara (Gujarat). Munmun and Raj’s families have accepted their relationship and they were also present at the ceremony”.

However, they had dismissed the report and put out a strong denial on their social media handle. For those unversed, Munmun has been a part of the show ever since it started.
