TMKOC fame Ghanashyam Nayak aka Nattu Kaka on his cancer diagnosis: The treatment is on and I hope I will be all good

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actor Ghanashyam Nayak aka Nattu Kaka is currently undergoing treatment for cancer. Last year in September, the 77-year-old actor had developed a lump on his neck and he underwent successful surgery. He has been undergoing chemotherapy.

While speaking to ETimes, Nayak said that he is “absolutely fine and healthy”. “There’s no such big issue. In fact, viewers will get to see me in an episode of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah tomorrow. It is a very special episode and I hope they will like my work again,” said the actor.

Talking about his treatment, Ghanashyam said that it is on and he hopes he will be all good. He hopes that after tomorrow’s episode, the shoot will soon resume in Mumbai and he gets back to work. He added, “I am eagerly waiting to get back to work. I go through chemotherapy and it happens once in a month. The doctor has told me I can work and there is no problem. I just want to spread positivity and tell everyone that I am doing fine.”

As the shoot of TMKOC was going in Daman, he shot for an episode there. Sharing his experience, he said that he had a fun time shooting in Daman and he felt great to reunite with the cast again.

Ghanashyam further said that he is fit and fine and can shoot and added, “Whatever the news is going around is old and I want to tell everyone I am fine now. I know I am going to live for 100 years and nothing will happen to me, I know that for sure”.
