Dilip Joshi, who is popularly known for playing the role of Jethalal Gada in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, is currently grabbing attention for a shocking reason. According to the India Today report, an unknown caller warned police of armed men outside Dilip Joshi’s house. The investigation is currently underway.
Dilip’s house surrounded by 25 armed men
According to the report, Nagpur Control Room received a call from an unknown person who claimed that the actor’s house was surrounded by 25 armed men. The caller claimed that the people are standing outside with weapons and guns. Reportedly, the unknown person’s name is Katke.
The report further adds that this was the same caller who earlier warned about bombs being planted at Amitabh Bachchan, Mukesh Ambani and Dharmendra’s residences. The police tracked his number and it belongs to a boy who works in a SIM card company in Delhi. The boy stated that the call was made using his number and that unknown caller used a special app.
The real caller is not yet found. The Nagpur Control Room immediately alerted Shivaji Park Police Station and started an investigation. A case has been registered and the police are looking into the matter.
Dilip Joshi has not yet reacted to the news.
The Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actor recently attended the wedding of his co-star Sachin Shroff. Sachin Shroff replaced Shailesh Lodha as Taraak Mehta in the popular TV show. Apart from Dilip, Sachin’s wedding was also attended by Munmun Dutta, Palak Sindhwani, and Samay Shah.
On the other hand, a few days, Dilip enjoyed a metro ride. The actor had shared a video on his Instagram along with the caption, “Went for a Mumbai Metro joyride today, and all I can say is… Bahut Khoob! Congratulations to everyone who made this happen, and also to everyone whose lives have been possibly impacted by this service!”
