TMKOC’s Tapu aka Raj Anadkat CONFIRMS his exit from the show, issues official statement

Actor Raj Anadkat, popularly known for his role as Tapu in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, garnered immense love and appreciation from fans and well-wishers. However, earlier, this year, there were reports suggesting that Raj will be quitting the show for unknown reasons. Now, he puts all the speculations to rest as Raj Anadkat issues an official statement, mentioning that his association with TMKOC has come to an end.

Raj Anadkat of TMKOC wrote in his statement, “It’s time to lay all questions and speculations to rest. My association with Neela Film Productions and Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has officially ended. It has been a wonderful journey of learning, making friends and having some of the best years of my career. I would like to thank everyone who supported me in this journey – The entire team of TMKOC, my friends, family and of course all of you. Everyone who welcomed me into the show and loved me as ‘Tapu’. Your love for my craft has always pushed me to give my best to each and every one of you, every single time. I wish the team of TMKOC all the very best for the future of the show. I’ll be back to entertain all of you very soon. Keep showering your love and support.”

Fans of Raj are disappointed with his exit from the show as they expressed their displeasure in the comment section. One fan wrote, “We Miss you too much RAJ SIR. YOU ARE SO MUCH GREAT HERO. I’M SAD TO HEAR THIS NEWS THAT YOU LEAVE THE SHOW TMKOC” while another one said, “Will Genuinely Miss this Tapu..TMKOC got a face and was amazing to see you as a part of the family of TMKOC”

There was another fan of Raj who said, “We’re Always With You Raj God Bless You always Ton’s Of Love To You Raj.”

Earlier, in august, Raj Anadkat spoke cryptically about his exit from TMKOC and said, “Whatever it is, I’ll update my fans. When the time is right, everyone will get to know.” Well, now it is official that he is no more a part of the show.
