It is Thursday again and BARC (Broadcast Audience Research Council India) has done its job again. BARC is out with the TRP report of Week 7. Yes, the latest TRP report from February 13 to February 19 is released. Surprisingly, this TRP report is exactly the same as last time. Confused? Well, we mean there have been not shuffles in the TRP list. Simply, the top 5 shows on the TRP report remain similar, but there have been changes in the ratings.
Starting off, Anupamaa is ruling the TRP report on the number one spot with 9162 impressions. The show’s divorce track between Anupamaa (Rupali Ganguly) and Vanraj’s (Sudhanshu Pandey) has left many teary-eyed. Following it on the number 2 spot we have Imile with 7594 impressions. The show stars Sumbul Touqeer and Gashmeer Mahajani and is relatively newer on TV, but is giving a tough competition to old shows.
On the third spot, we have yet another new show, Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. Starring Neil Bhatt, Aishwarya Sharma, and Ayesha Singh, Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, has maintained its third position with 7326 impressions. The fourth position is taken by Kundali Bhagya with 6684 impressions. Shraddha Arya and Dheeraj Dhoopar’s romance on the show once again tugged at the hearts of PreeRan lovers.
Lastly, the fifth spot is taken by Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai with 6599 impressions. Sirat (Shivangi Joshi), Kartik (Mohsin Khan), and the Goenka family’s dramatic life have kept fans hooked to YRKKH.

While the top 5 positions have not changed a bit from last time, what has surprised us is Bigg Boss 14 couldn’t make it to the top even in its final week. Yes, Bigg Boss 14 finale week (from Feb 15) failed to grab the attention and take a spot on the top 5 of the TRP list. Well, the Salman Khan-hosted show has surely left many disappointed, despite the numerous efforts by makers.
Meanwhile, Indian Idol 12, Kumkum Bhagya, and Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah are doing well. What are your thoughts on this week’s TRP report? Let us know.
