EXCLUSIVE: ‘Tum akeli aayi ho?’ Monika Bhadoriya recalls Asit Kumarr Modi asking her personal questions, being rude

Producer Asit Kumarr Modi’s show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has been in the news for some time now. It all started after Jennifer Mistry aka Mrs Roshan Singh Sodhi accused Asit, Sohail Ramani and Jatin Bajaj of sexual harassment. Post that, Monika Bhadoriya, known for playing the role of Bawri in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, came forward and spoke about her tough times on the sets. Monika Bhadoriya recently sat down for an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble and spilled the beans on Asit Modi’s rude behaviour.

Monika Bhadoriya makes SHOCKING revelations about Asit Modi:

When asked about Asit Kumarr Modi, Monika shared that he used to ask her personal questions. She told us, “He used to ask ‘Tumhare kitna boyfriends hai?’, ‘Tum akeli aayi ho abhi?’ and ‘Tum drink karti ho?’ Aise sab sawaal bohot karte the. Toh main sochti thi ki ye tabhi kyu baat karte hai jab ye mujhe increment ke liye bulata hai. Yeh tabhi hi aise baatein kyu karte hai? (How many boyfriends do you have? Have you come alone? Do you drink? I used to think why does he ask me such questions only when he calls me for increment? Why does he do such things only then?) I also used to think that he must be asking such questions to change the topic at the time of increment.”

The actress went on to add that Asit Kumarr Modi knows everything that happens on the sets of TMKOC. During the conversation, Monika shared that project head Sohail Ramani once got into an ugly fight with one of the members of the show. Adding to that, she said that Asit was well-aware of it. She said, “He (Asit) is involved in this. Aisa ho hi nahi sakta ki being a producer aapko nahi pata ki kya ho raha hai sets par. Itni major cheeze ho rahi hai. Haata payi ho rahi hai aur aapko nahi pata? But woh apni team ko support karte hai, woh artist ko support nahi karte (It is not possible that being a producer you don’t know what is happening on the sets. So many major things are happening. Fights are happening and you have no idea about this? He supports his team, he doesn’t support artist).”

Adding to that, she said that he was very rude to her.
