A pregnant elephant was killed after a local fed her a pineapple stuffed with crackers in Kerala’s Malappuram. The news took the internet by storm and everyone on social media condemned this brutal act. TV celebs like Hina Khan, Rashami Desai, Mahhi Vij, Karan Kundrra among others have voiced against animal cruelty.

Hina Khan wrote a lengthy post condemning this barbaric act. The excerpt of her post read: “The conscious being, the creature created in gods own image, the species that boasts as the sole master of the planet. Yet so petty, so ungodly, so disgraceful, so unconscionable and so inhuman.”
