According to a report by Times Now, television couple Sanam Johar and Abigail Pande were called by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) for the second time on September 24. They were called for further questioning after NCB searched their residence. Sources told the news channel that their names have come up in the investigation by the NCB. Alleged drug peddler Anuj, who was arrested by the NCB has taken the names of Sanam and Abigail. They were also grilled on September 23 for seven hours by the NCB.
Also, another alleged drug peddler Karamjeet was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau and he has named almost 20 people from the industry; most names are from the TV industry.
Reportedly, Karamjeet was named by Rhea’s brother Showik Chakraborty and Samuel Miranda during the interrogation by the NCB. According to Showik, Karamjeet also known as KJ is one of the biggest suppliers.

So, the drug nexus is not confined to Bollywood now but also the TV industry.
Meanwhile, the apex drugs probe agency has sent summons to Bollywood actors Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh and fashion designer Simone Khambatta.
