EXCLUSIVE: Umar Riaz REVEALS why he unfollowed Rashami Desai

Bigg Boss 15 Umar Riaz and actress Rashami Desai have known each other for quite some time now. After they met, rumours of them being in a relationship surfaced too. Fans speculated they’re dating and they immediately had an army of ‘UmRash’ shippers. Despite all rumours, Umar and Rashami have maintained their close friendship. However, the former Bigg Boss contestants had unfollowed each other on Instagram sometime back.

Umar Riaz clarifies why he unfollowed Rashami Desai

We sat down with the former Bigg Boss contestant, for a candid conversation, ahead of the release of his new song, Main Tumse Milne Aaunga. In an exclusive chat with us, Umar was questioned about him unfollowing Rashami from his Instagram. The actor answered and revealed why.

Umar Riaz told Bollywood Bubble, “Hum aapas mein, we were just fine. Seriously! Matlab, milte the, bohot achi tarah se milte the. Aur, aapas mein clear tha (In between us, we were just fine. Seriously! Means, we used to meet each other well and all. And, it was all pretty clear between us).”

The Bigg Boss 15 contestant added, “But obviously, kya hota hai. Woh joh baaki ki aapki jo fandom hai, woh waha se mujhe curse kar rahe hai, usko bechari ko curse kar rahe ho. Woh karte karte, logon ko lagta hai, obviously aapke fans hai toh aapka kuch toh haath hoga, ya aapke team ka haath hoga. Toh woh phir woh misunderstanding hoti gayi aur aap clear hi nahi kar paaye (But obviously, what happens is, the rest of your fandom, they are cursing me from one side, and they were cursing her (Rashami). Going by that, people think that you might be involved in that, obviously they’re your fans so you might be involved, or your team might be involved. So then, there is a misunderstanding and then we can’t clear that out).”

Umar Riaz explained further how Rashami and he are now on good terms. He mentioned they are in touch, despite their busy schedules. Riaz revealed Rashami and he send reels to each other on Insagram and laugh out about it.

He continued, “Toh, bas ussi ki wajah se, woh follow, unfollow. But now, we’re in such a happy state ke you know, both of us, ki agar hum baat bhi nahi kar rahe hai, woh Instagram pe, woh reel bhej rahi hai, main bhej raha hoon, laughing, smiling. Everybody is busy right? Toh, with Rashami, I am in touch (So, because of that reason, we followed, unfollowed. But now, were in such a happy state you know, both of us, that even if we don’t talk to each other, on Instagram, she sends me reels, I send her reels, we’re laughing, smiling. And then, everybody’s busy right? So, with Rashami, I’m in touch).“
