Uorfi’s collaboration with Rimple & Harpreet

Couture brand Rimple and Harpreet has collaborated with fashion disruptor Uorfi to launch a new campaign set in Old Delhi. The project explores the fine distinction between couture and costume and celebrates India’s textile and design heritage. Shot by Kanu Palliwal at Kathika Haveli, Imlu Mohalla, the campaign mixes the label’s archival pieces with garments from more recent collections with a regal aesthetic.

Key pieces in the campaign include a seven-coloured ‘Satrangi Leheria Lehenga’ which was originally crafted for Rajasthani royalty and the jewel-toned colour palette highlights the collection’s glittering zardozi work. Designed to frame couture in a new light, the campaign also draws upon the design duo’s work for the Indian film industry.
