Urvashi Dholakia undergoes neck surgery to remove tumour, advised rest for 15-20 days

Urvashi Dholakia is one of the most loved actresses in the industry. She is popularly known for playing Komolika in the popular TV show Kausatii Zindagii Kay. Recently, Urvashi Dholakia had a neck surgery and is now recovering at Nanavati Hospital, Mumbai. In a statement, Urvashi shared that a small tumor was discovered in her neck, and it has been successfully removed now. The actress’ son Kshitij has been sharing videos of his mother from the hospital on his Instagram and keeping her fans updated about her condition.

The statement read, “I had to undergo surgery as a tumour was diagnosed in the neck in early December 2023. My surgery is successful and now I have been advised rest for 15 to 20 days.”

Kshitij recently shared a video of his mother from the hospital room. Going by the video, Urvashi is doing well after the surgery.

Urvashi made her acting debut at the age of 6 in a TV commercial with Revathi. She later appeared as Rajlaxmi in the TV show Shrikant. The actress’ first TV adult role was in Doordarshan’s Dekh Bhai Dekh and later appeared in Waqt Ki Raftar. Over the years, Urvashi has also been a part of reality shows including Bigg Boss 6 and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11.
