Good News: Uttaran actor Mrunal Jain to embrace fatherhood next year; deets inside

Actor Mrunal Jain, who has appeared in programmes like Bandhan, Hitler Didi and Uttaran is all set to become father next year. Mrunal’s wife, Sweetie Jain, is expecting a child in January 2022, which is also his birthday month. In a recent interview with ETimes, the actor said that he is both eager and anxious about experiencing parenthood bliss next year. Mrunal also said that everything would change with the arrival of the kid.

He said, “Our baby is due in January-end. I will wait for my child’s arrival to celebrate my birthday. I am excited as well as nervous about becoming a father. Everything will soon change. My world will revolve around my little one and I am sure my baby will have me wrapped around its little finger (smiles).” Mrunal also said that he has been preparing for the new role since the time he got to know about his wife’s pregnancy.

He added, “I have learnt to strike a balance in my personal and professional life. I have become more responsible and focused. Now, I am just waiting for the arrival of our bundle of joy.”

In July 2013, the pair married in an arranged marriage. Mrunal claims that they made a conscious decision to spend time getting to know each other better before going the family route. “I feel it’s important to know each other well and that’s why we gave ourselves time before we became parents, as we knew that our focus would be completely on him/her,” said the actor.

Mrunal was most recently seen in the TV programme Nagarjuna — Ek Yoddha, which ended in 2017. He says he’s been waiting for the release of Sooryavanshi (the Akshay Kumar film) and would then begin filming for a web programme. He also mentioned that he has done a few music videos. He did not do any TV shows since they were inappropriate for him.
