Varun Sood clarifies viral emoji tweet as he REACTS to ex-girlfriend Divya Agarwal’s engagement

Earlier this month, Divya Agarwal announced her engagement with Apurva Padgaonkar on Instagram. Divya and Apurva’s engagement photos went viral on social media. For the uninitiated, Divya Agarwal was in a relationship with Varun Sood. Varun Sood and Divya Agarwal dated for around two years before calling it quits in March this year. Post Divya Agarwal’s engagement announcement, Varun had shared a calm emoji on Twitter. Netizens assumed that he was reacting to the engagement. A few days ago, Varun shared a beach video and captioned it saying, “We go on and on.” And again, netizens assumed that it was about his ex. Now, Varun reacted to ex-girlfriend Divya Agarwal’s engagement. The actor also cleared air around his tweet and Instagram post.

Reacting to Divya’s engagement, Varun Sood told Bombay Times, “I would like to congratulate the couple. I wish them all the best.”

When asked about his social media posts, Varun said, “The song that I posted recently has been sung by a very good friend of mine. And even earlier, when I posed a calm emoji, it was a few projects that I signed. It was not hinted at anyone or any event happening in anyone’s life. None of my posts or tweets are related to anyone.”

Divya earlier shared her engagement photos along with the caption, “Will I ever stop smiling? Probably not. Life just got more sparkly and I found the right person to share this journey with. His #BaiCo… A forever promise. From this important day, I will never walk alone.”

Fans and friends including Pavitra Punia, Jay Bhanushali, Esha Gupta, and Arti Singh among others showered love on them.
