Vijay Varma reveals he ‘grilled’ himself for four months to pull off police officer role in Jaane Jaan

Vijay Varma is on a roll with delivering back to back stunning performances with Darlings, Kaalkoot and Lust Stories 2. The actor is enjoying a major fan following and the appreciation for his stellar on-screen presence. Now, Vijay Varma will be seen in Jaane Jaan alongside Kareena Kapoor and Jaideep Ahlawat.

The trailer for Jaane Jaan was released today and has grabbed our attention for the very right reasons. During the trailer launch event, Vijay Varma, Kareena Kapoor and Jaideep Ahlawat marked their presence. They have also spilled out some interesting insights from their professional lives.

Vijay Varma opens up about his character from Jaane Jaan

As Vijay Varma is not failing to grabbing headlines these days, he is surely attracting attention for his work. Speaking about the same, Vijay says, “Work is coming out and it is connecting with people and I find it flattering that they are calling it the year of Vijay Varma. I want the Chinese calendar also to call it the year of Vijay Varma”.

Further, he opened up about his character and said, “It was a role of a good police officer. I felt like it was a welcome change for me and all the audience who I have traumatized in the past with my portrayals on screen, so this was a welcome refreshing change for me. I think the character demanded a certain kind of a physical prowess and skills which my ‘couch-friendly’ body wasn’t very familiar with. So I put myself in a very grilling training for four months to get to where I had to, thanks to Sujoy, who made it happen for me.”

By delivering gripping and captivating characters and stories, Vijay Varma is turning out to be the center of attraction and there’s no denying that. Apart from work, the actor is also creating a storm on the internet ever since he confessed his love for his girlfriend Tamannaah Bhatia. Recently, Vijay and Tamannaah were spotted separately at the airport as they had returned from their Maldives trip.

Well, now, Vijay Varma is gearing up for the release of Jaane Jaan. Going by the thunderous trailer, it seems that it will be a delight to watch the talented trio on-screen.
