‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’ web series is a horror-comedy about Mohan (Anant Vidhaat), who lands into a weird situation after he gets married for the second time. His first wife, Surabhi’s (Vinny Arora) who is dead now haunts him as she is jealous of him for getting close to his new wife played by Riya Sen. This quirky drama is full of fun and something new on the OTT platform MX Player.
Vinny is elated on her digital debut and she is quite happy with the response that she is getting from her family and friends. Expressing her happiness, Vinny said, “I am proud as a peacock. ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’ was shot last year and there was a slight delay and finally, it has come out, so I’m really happy. It’s my digital debut and it’s a new genre and different character I have done.”
Vinny is seen on screen, almost after two years but she doesn’t like to call it a comeback. “For actors, If you get interesting projects, you keep doing it back-to-back otherwise you wait for something nice to work out for or something exciting to do. ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’ genre is very less on OTT platforms. So, when this happened, I was so happy because of the light story and it is not the usual ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’. I was very happy to take it up. When you are meant for something, it comes to you no matter what,” she said.

On asked how she bagged the role, Vinny said, “One day before going to Dubai, I got a call saying that they want me to self-test and it will star Anant and Riya. I was in my own zone but thankfully that day I had my make-up on and I thought of giving the audition as the lines were very nice and simple. I was not even back from the holiday and then got a call that I’m part of the show. The day I landed back was the day of the press conference of ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’. So, it happened in four days. The director told me that they were happy with my audition and they were not finding a suitable actor for this role until the last minute. I was the one to audition last. Sometimes you keep trying for something so desperately that doesn’t work out and something that is meant for you, they just fall on your lap so easily.”
