VIRAL: Anu Malik wanted to slap himself after watching Neha Kakkar perform on Indian Idol stage in TB video

Neha Kakkar rose to fame with Indian Idol where she impressed everyone with her unique voice. A recent clip of Indian Idol judge Anu Malik is going viral where he has a rather surprising reaction to Neha Kakkar singing on the show. The clip sees Neha Kakkar singing to ‘Aisa Lagta Hai’ from Refugee. While her performance tugged at fans’ heartstrings, it failed to impress the judges, Anu Malik, Sonu Nigam, and Farah Khan. After she sang the song, Anu Malik was seen saying that he felt like slapping himself after hearing her performance. Neha, however, took it in her stride and has today become one of the most sought-after singers.

She delivered her first hit with Second Hand Jawaani, from Cocktail. With songs like Dilbar, Kala Chashma, Aankh Marey, and O Saki Saki, among many others in her kitty, Neha today is a judge for Indian Idol 12 along with Vishal Dadlani and Himesh Reshammiya. On the personal front, Neha is currently married to Rohanpreet Singh. The two married each other in 2020 after dating for a while. She recently delivered a huge hit with Marjaneya which featured Abhinav Shukla and Rubina Dilaik.
