Wagle Ki Duniya: Fans shower LOVE on Sumeet Raghvan starrer ‘middle class’ family drama; See Reactions

Wagle Ki Duniya is back with a new twist! Ever since the reboot of the popular 80s sitcom was announced, fans couldn’t control their excitement. And yesterday, February 8 (2021), viewers were glued to their TV screens as Wagle Ki Duniya finally premiered. Yes, the first episode of Wagle Ki Duniya aired last night. And, we couldn’t ask for more happiness!

Titled, ‘Wagle Ki Duniya- Nayi Peedhi, Nayi Kissey’, the show’s concept is quite promising. It once again assures us to bring the magic of R K Laxman’s intriguing stories of ‘common man’ to life onscreen. This generation change is certainly going to be a new set of dilemmas and challenges. Enhancing the old concept, Wagle Ki Duniya also brings forth the progress made by middle-class families.

The viewers are nostalgic to see the much-loved sitcom on TV after ages. Wagle Ki Duniya is known to show the world from the lens of a ‘middle-class common-man’ which makes it relatable and interesting. The show stars Sumeet Raghvan and Pariva Pranati in the lead roles. Aanjjan Srivastav and Bharti Achrekar have reprised their roles. Sumeet plays the role of Rajesh Wagle, while Paranti plays his loving wife. The show also focuses on the third generation, which is played by Chinmayee Salvi and Sheehan Kapahi. The slice-of-life show has already made a place in the hearts of the audience with its first episode.

The show is also remembered for being one of the earliest screen appearances of Shah Rukh Khan. He did a cameo in one of the episodes back then.
