EXCLUSIVE: We fought right before our haldi: Ankita Lokhande & Vicky Jain’s hilarious shaadi revelation

Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain are one of the most loved couples in the industry. Ankita and Vicky tied the knot in December 2021. The couple’s wedding was all about fun, laughter and love. Recently, Ankita and Vicky sat down for an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble and opened up about their wedding. Ankita and Vicky recalled the fight they had before Haldi ceremony.

For the uninitiated, Ankita had suffered a leg injury before her wedding with Vicky Jain. Despite that, she made sure to have fun and danced her heart out. While recalling the pre-wedding moments, Vicky shared that they actually fought with each other on the day of their haldi ceremony.

Vicky told us, “Main tayyar hoke utara aur ye muh banake khadi hai lift ke andar. Maine kaha yaar meri bhi toh shaadi ho raha hai. Maine kaha ye moment kill nahi karte hai. Ek dusre ko ache se dekhte hai par kuch nahi (I got down dressed and she’s standing there inside the lift. I told her I am getting married too. I told her let’s not kill this moment. Let’s see each other nicely but nothing)”

Ankita added, “Yeh walk kar raha tha aur bole ye moment humesha yaad rakhunga ki tu iss din mujhse jhagdi thi (He was walking and said I will always remember this moment that you had a fight with me on this day) Vicky went on to add, “Maine kaha mein zindagi bhar na Ankita tu iss din jhagdi thi na mein kabhi nahi bhulunga. Meri haldi ki function mein ab mein kya bolu yaar. Aur saara parivaar dekh rahe hai. Hum walk kar rahe hai sab hume dekh rahe hai (laughs) (I told her I’ll never forget you had a fight with me on this day for the rest of my life. In my Haldi function what do I say? The entire family was watching. We were walking and everyone was looking at us)“

Ankita added, “Fir haldi alag alag hogayi. Fir video mein bhi hai Vicky aaya aur usne mujhe gal pe aise haldi lagayi phir maine usko hug kia (The mehendi function took place. Then there is also in the video Vicky came and applied turmeric on my cheek and then I hugged him). Vicky went on to add, “Phir maine kaha yaar apna hi function hai saare agaye hai. Ab nahin karte hai (Then I told her that it’s our function and evreyone is here. So, let’s not do it)” How sweet!

During the conversation, Ankita opened up about her first meeting with husband Vicky Jain. Apart from that, they also spilled the beans on family planning and having kids.
