Akshay Kumar REVEALS the reason behind the delay of his OTT debut project

As Akshay Kumar is going to make his OTT debut in web series, he reveals why the project is taking time to finish during the recent media interaction.

Actor Akshay Kumar who has just released Mission Raniganj on Friday held a press conference in the city. During the media interaction, Akshay shed some light on his upcoming OTT debut with Amazon Prime. Earlier, in December 2022, Akshay Kumar spoke about his OTT debut web series saying that it will be a science fiction. The title of the web series was reported to be The End and Akshay was going to shoot for the same earlier this year. However, since then, there have been no updates about the series until now.

During the media interaction, Akshay revealed why the series is taking time to finish shooting. He said, “I will do it. We were not happy with the screenplay.” Earlier, during an interview with Deadline, Akshay revealed, “It’s more on the science fiction” side of things with “a lot of action in it, I can say that.” The project marks Kumar’s first foray into the streaming series arena. His previous two movies Laxmi and Bell Bottom were released on OTT platforms Disney+ Hotstar and Amazon Prime respectively. The movies were released during COVID-19 as a nationwide lockdown was imposed in the country.
