Amol Parashar and Akanksha Ranjan Kapoor begin filming for Amazon Prime Video’s Gram Chikitsalaya

India’s most loved entertainment destination, today announced the commencement of filming of its upcoming original series Gram Chikitsalaya. Produced by The Viral Fever (TVF), the creators of several award-winning and fan-favourite originals, this comedy-drama brings an engaging story filled with humour and heartfelt moments.

Boasting of a highly talented and versatile ensemble cast including Amol Parashar, Anandeshwar Dwivedi, Akash Makhija, Garima Vikrant Singh, Vinay Pathak, and Akansha Ranjan Kapoor in the lead roles, Gram Chikitsalay is a delightful blend of humour and emotions. The series follows the journey of a doctor from the city as he adjusts to life at a small-town public health centre.

The series serves up a witty cocktail of playful journey of self-discovery, unexpected friendships, and the awkward hilarity that comes with figuring out how to fit into a place that plays by its own rules. Currently in production, Gram Chikitsalay will be available to Prime Members in over 240 countries and territories upon its release.
