Emraan Hashmi, Mouni Roy, Naseeruddin Shah starrer Showtime first look promises a thrilling series on showbiz world- Watch

Filmmaker Karan Johar took to his Instagram and dropped the first look at the new series Showtime starring stars Emraan Hashmi, Mouni Roy, and Naseeruddin Shah. It looks like a thrilling series. Showtime gives a peek into the showbiz World which is glamorous but at the same time it is dark. In the first-look video, Emraan Hashmi says that under the pretext of nepotism, every outsider wants to be an insider.

From politics to heartbreaks and emotional breakdown, Showtime gives us glimpses of their powerful yet wrecked life. It seems like Showtime is billed as an epic saga of legacy and ambition in the world of cinema. From showing the movie mafia to the aspiring actors who are trying to make it big in Bollywood, Showtime covers all the aspects of the industry. Since it is the first look, not much was revealed. The show also gives us glimpses of Shriya Saran, Mahima Makwana and Vijay Raaz. The ensemble cast in Showtime has piqued our interest to watch the series.

The show marks Hashmi’s second web series after Netflix’s ”Bard of Blood” (2019). Created by Sumit Roy and directed by Mihir Desai, Showtime will be streaming on Disney+ Hotstar. However, the release date of the same is yet to be announced.
