Showtime trailer: Emraan Hashmi turns flagbearer of nepotism, show gives glimpses of the war between insider and outsider

Filmmaker Karan Johar is all set to amaze the audience with the upcoming series Showtime. The series stars Emraan Hashmi, Mahima Makwana, Mouni Roy, Rajeev Khandelwal, Shriya Saran, Vijay Raaz, Naseeruddin Shah in key roles. Showtime is a show that takes you through the untold and unseen side of the showbiz world. The trailer of Showtime has been released and the intensity of the series will leave you intrigued.

In the trailer, an aspiring journalist played by Mahima is trying to expose the dark side of the glamorous world. An outsider will turn the industry inside out. On the other hand, Emraan Hashmi seems to be playing the flagbearer of nepotism and someone who has a powerful hold in the entertainment industry. Rajeev Khandelwal essays the role of a superstar whereas Mouni Roy plays Emraan’s love interest and is probably one of the top actresses in Bollywood. The Showtime trailer also teases fans with an ultimate showdown when there’s a war between insider and outsider. From showing the movie mafia to the aspiring actors who are trying to make it big in Bollywood, Showtime covers all the aspects of the industry.
