Kajol broke her no-kissing policy for her OTT debut show The Trial after 29 years. At the age of 48, she locked lips with her co-stars in the show.

Actor Kajol who has been in the industry for more than 3 decades broke her ‘no-kissing’ policy after 29 years. She made her OTT debut with The Trial and is gaining a lot of appreciation from the fans. However, the one thing that people are talking about is her steamy kiss with her co-stars in The Trial. Kajol was seen kissing Jisshu Sengupta and Alyy Khan in the series, breaking her ‘no-kissing’ policy.

This is the first time where Kajol was seen having a lip-lock onscreen at the age of 48. In one of the scenes, Kajol was captured kissing Jisshu Sengupta who plays her husband. Whereas Alyy Khan plays the role of her boss and boyfriend in the series. Earlier, in an interview in January, Alyy spoke about having a crush on Kajol. He also revealed they had a kissing scene in the series.

Alyy Khan on kissing Kajol

Alyy spoke about his character and the scene from the web series. He said, “I play her boyfriend, her boss, and we had this French kiss. We went to solve some cases, and we were college sweethearts, and our romance reignited. Now, it’s work, so it has to be done. We were shooting at a posh hotel in Mumbai, and the director asked if we’d like a closed set, which means that only the important people would be allowed to be present. I told the director and Kajol both how I was going to approach the kiss. But not for one second was there any shame, or embarrassment, or hesitation.”

Lastly, he stated, “It was such a professional shoot. And when we were done — we rehearsed three or four times — and we walked over to the monitors, asked each other if we were happy, and moved on.“

For the unversed, the Fanaa actor had locked lips once with Kamal Sadanah in her debut Bekhudi. The other time was with Akshay Kumar in the 1994 film Yeh Dillagi.
