Karan Johar gives a Koffee With Karan 8 round-up, promises season 9 to be ‘stronger than ever’

Filmmaker Karan Johar took to his Instagram on Wednesday, sharing a video about his talk show Koffee With Karan. The video is about the compilation of season 8 and how it has become the hottest and most successful season. Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s episodes are the first most viewed ones. Whereas Sara Ali Khan and Ananya Panday’s episode is the second most viewed one.

KJo made a compilation and said how these episodes were streaming charts for 13 weeks in a row. He even promises that the next season will be stronger than ever. Sharing the round-up on his gram, Karan Johar wrote, “As we wrap season 8…I am compelled to say – IT WAS GREAT! With your love and unabashed tough love, we conquered the streaming charts for 13 weeks in a row. All of them came, they conquered and brewed some interesting conversations that left many an impact on the hearts and soul and well, some for just good ol’ chatter amongst everyone!!! Rest assured, we’ll be back…with our koffee stronger than ever. #KoffeeWithKaranS8.”

Fans started reacting to the video, explaining which episode they liked the most and which they didn’t. Among many, a user commented, “Deepika and Ranveer’s episode was real honest and very important mental health wise“. While another one said, “Could be an unpopular opinion but I really liked this season. With some new faces and much mature and heartwarming conversations! I really liked the change because it reminded me of the initials seasons!! Just one feedback- didn’t like the finale much. Looking forward to new season with some more new faces!!”
