Karishma Tanna wins the Best Actress Award for the first time at the prestigious Busan International Film Festival, details inside

Actress Karishma Tanna established herself through television and then ventured into films with her first movie Dosti: Friends Forever. Karishma also performed in the Ranbir Kapoor starrer Sanju and received appreciation for her role. Now, the actress played a crucial role in the Hansal Mehta-directed web series titled Scoop. Reportedly, Karishma Tanna was the only Indian actress to be nominated for the Best Lead Actress at the prestigious Busan International Film Festival.

Karishma Tanna bags Best Actress Award at Busan International Film Festival

Currently, Karishma Tanna is basking in the glory of winning the Best Actress Award for Scoop at the Busan International Film Festival. Not just this, Scoop also won the award for Best Asian TV series. The actress took to her social media handle and shared her joy of bagging the award.

Dropping happy pictures on the gram, Karishma wrote, “And we Bring it Home. I am absolutely thrilled to share with you all that our #series#Scoop#scooponnetflix has won 2 awards for Best Asian Series and Best Lead Actress on @netflix_in at the @busanfilmfest@aca_g.ott202. To be nominated here was a huge honour and to win in both the categories is just overwhelming. So much gratitude in our hearts.
