Karan Johar is back with a new season of his iconic chat show Koffee With Karan. And the way he announces that return is just signature KJo style. The filmmaker made the announcement of Koffee With Karan 8 with a quirky teaser that will make you laugh out loud.

On Wednesday, Karan took to his Instagram to share the new season’s teaser, making it official. In the quirky video, Karan is visited by his ‘konscience’ who drops some harsh truth bombs and trolls him. What makes the filmmaker great is his ability to take a joke on himself, and this video is a testament to that.

Karan’s ‘konscience’ is seen telling him that his last season was ‘meh’. He also points out the ‘cheese’ joke on Vijay Deverakonda by his ‘nepo kids’ Janhvi Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan. The konscience also mentions Karan taking interest into his young guests’ sex lives. And all of these jokes land perfectly and will make you laugh out loud. Koffee With Karan 8 has the release date of October 26 and will stream on Disney+ Hotstar.

Karan Johar upcoming movies

On the movie front, Karan returned to the director’s chair after 7 years in 2023. He directed the Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh starrer Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. The film emerged a box office success earning over Rs 150 crores in India. Next up, the filmmaker has already announced his next directorial to be an action film. He will soon start work on it.
