Guns & Gulaabs Trailer: RajKummar Rao and Dulquer Salmaan give a glimpse of their Gangster comedy with a retro spin

Apart from Guns N Roses, India has Guns & Gulaabs, all thanks to Raj and DK. On Wednesday, the makers have now released the trailer of Guns and Gulaabs which looks quite exciting and thrilling. The Gangster Comedy series boasts a stellar star cast that includes RajKummar Rao, Dulquer Salmaan, Adarsh Gourav and Gulshan Devaiah. The trailer gives a peek into the crime world while not giving out too much of the plot. In fact, in some parts, it just leaves you confused as very little of the story is revealed.

However, the theme and sassy one-liners are too good that might strike a chord with the audience if you’re a fan of the 90s. The retro spin to Guns and Gulabs looks refreshing and interesting. Going by their looks and the dialogue, the series seems to be set in the 80s or the 90s. In the trailer, Chhota Ganchi (Gourav) seems to be a hot-headed man whereas the family man Arjun (Dulquer) is a filmy officer. On the other hand, there is 4 cut Atmaram (Gulshan) who uses his blade four times on a person. And there’s an innocent Paana Tipu (RajKummar) who is not that innocent.

All four of them are connected to a deal and that is what we have to find out in the series once it releases. The Guns & Gulaabs trailer has great 90s jazzy music that goes very well with the theme of the show. Given the fact, it is a crime drama, the duo has added songs that look quite contrasting.

Directed by Raj and DK, Guns and Gulaabs also star TJ Bhanu, Shreya Dhanwanthary, Pooja A Gor and Satish Kaushik. The show will be streaming on Netflix from August 18.
