Bigg Boss OTT 3: Ranvir Shorey recalls dating Pooja Bhatt; calls it ‘the biggest scandal’ of his life

During the previous episode of Bigg Boss OTT 3, actor Ranvir Shorey recalled the biggest scandal of his life when he was also shooting Lakshaya in 2002. In the episode, he called his dating with Pooja Bhatt ‘the biggest scandal’. He said that when he was shooting for Lakshay, his mother was sick and he couldn’t leave the set as he was in Ladakh. During that time, Shorey recalled his encounter with ‘the biggest scandal’.

He said, “During the same time, I also encountered the biggest scandal of my life with another actress. As I was unable to cope, my brother asked me to come to the US with him for a while. I pursued a six-month acting course in the US and borrowed money from my brother. After returning from the US, I started shooting for The Great Indian Comedy Show in 2005”.

“At that time, two of my long-shelved films were greenlit for release and hit theatres back-to-back within a week and my work was loved by audiences. After those films, I finally felt my life was steady as an actor and that I had arrived,” he added.

In the grand premiere of the show, during his argument with Shivani over the bed, she asked Ranvir what he does for a living. When he told her he was an actor, she asked how his work was going on now. He quipped, “Agar achha chal raha toh yahan toh nahi hote.”

For the unversed, Ranvir and Pooja had an ugly breakup. However, they did move on and found a new partner. In 2010, Ranvir Shorey married actor Konkona Sen Sharma, and the two shared the custody of their son Haroon in 2011. The couple separated in 2015.
