Raveena Tandon is all geared up for the release of her upcoming series Karmma Calling. Ahead of the release, the actress recently got into a chat and spoke about the movies she was offered. In the conversation, she revealed that she was supposed to play Rani Mukerjis’ role in KaranJohar’s Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. And now, Raveena Tandon shares that she was the first choice for Sushmita Sen’s Aarya.

Aarya was eventually headlined by Sushmita Sen. The Aranyak actress got into a chat with Hindustan Times where she opened up about her digital debut and stated that she was initially offered Aarya. The actress said, “While these were really exciting scripts, but somewhere I wanted to do something that the audience have never got a chance to see me as before. Hence, I chose Aranyak to be my digital debut. It really worked well for me. That year was just full of awards. That gamble paid off.”

She added, “There are many times when I’ve met Ram and Nikhil (Madhok) from Hotstar then, that I said, ‘We have to do something (together).’ I’m really waiting to work with Ram. I had to explain to him why I couldn’t do Aarya. Then he understood my reason.”

Well, now the audience can see Raveena Tandon play a powerful and strong role and Indrani Kothari in her upcoming series Karmma Calling which is slated to stream on Disney+Hotstar from 26 January.
