Samantha wants people to give her blessings for action sequences in Citadel: Honey Bunny; says “I’m deeply invested in this”

Actors Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu have come together to launch the teaser of their upcoming series Citadel: Honey Bunny. In the teaser, we get to see both of them in the action-packed mode that piques our interest. However, we don’t get to see Varun and Samantha kicking people’s asses or throwing punches. Nevertheless, fans are quite excited to see Citadel Honey Bunny to see their in full action mode. Speaking about the same, during the event, Samantha said that it was beginner-luck but awaits the audience’s approval on the same.

Sam said, “It might have been beginner’s luck, I don’t know. I wait for the audience to give their verdict on this one. I really hope I pass with flying colours. The action genre is something that I’m deeply invested in and I would like to do more often. I really hope they give me their blessing on this one.“

During the same interaction, Varun revealed he didn’t recognise Samantha in popular movies despite watching them. Varun said, “I didn’t know she was the star from Makkhi. I love Aare Aare song (Makhi). Whenever I meet her I ask ‘Can we make a reel on this song?’ because she was so amazing in that. While doing the series with her I realised that she was Samantha, and then I saw her in some other film and realised that she was Samantha. She has given so many hits, that I didn’t know it was her.“
