The Freelancer trailer: Mohit Raina and Neeraj Pandey bring a compelling story of a rescue mission in Syria

Rescue mission dramas have always grabbed people’s attention, especially who are into this genre. Well, now filmmaker Neeraj Pandey brings an interesting story titled, The Freelancer starring Mohit Raina and Anupam Kher. The story is about a woman named Aliya who gets married to her lover and is taken to Syria for a different reason. Totally unaware of the real reason, Aliya later finds out the real reason for her husband bringing her to Syria. And that is terrorism.

Aliya had to work according to her husband’s will despite being tortured and abused. On the other hand, Aliya’s father (Sushant Singh) tries to contact his daughter but finds out that she has been missing. He then takes help from his friend who is an agent The Freelancer (Mohit Raina). He goes on a rescue mission and puts his life at stake to bring Aliya back home.

Directed by Bhav Dhulia and presented by Neeraj Pandey, The Freelancer is scheduled to release on September 1. The series is based on A Ticket to Syria by Shirish Thorat.
