‘XXX: Uncensored’: ALTBalaji blurs and edits questionable scenes from the show to be extra cautious

Ekta Kapoor has recently grabbed the headlines as a complaint was filed against her AltBalaji web show ‘XXX: Uncensored 2’ for allegedly showing objectionable and derogatory content. A Hyderabad-based social activist lodged the complaint in cybercrime branch Hyderabad stating that the show had defamatory content towards the Indian Army. On investigating the same, the respected authorities did not find any evidence and found the complaint to be unsubstantiated.

The digital platform has now taken control of the circumstance and behaved proactively. The moment someone, much earlier, bought to the platform’s notice they instantly made the necessary amendments because they did not want to hurt anyone’s sentiments. A source close to the industry shared, “ALTBalaji had instantly blurred and edited certain questionable scenes from the show to be extra cautious.”

Ekta Kapoor is a very well known personality and a reputed creator of content in the industry. She has created a legacy for herself and has given voice to unconventional and quality content over the years.

For the unversed, former ‘Bigg Boss‘ contestant, Hindustani Bhau aka Vikas Pathak had also filed a police complaint on June 1 against Ekta and her mother Shobha Kapoor for allegedly disrespecting Indian Army in the show. In a video shared by Bhau on his Instagram, he was saying that a few scenes are disrespecting and humiliating the Indian Army.
