Yeh Hai Chahatein actress Sargun Luthra on facing trolls: People wanted Divyanka Tripathi & Karan Patel back

Yeh Hai Chahtein starring Sargun Kaur Luthra Abrar Qazi in the lead roles began its journey on Television back in December 2019. The show is a spin-off of Divyanka Tripathi and Karan Patel starrer Yeh Hai Mohobattein. Sargun plays Preesha, while Abrar is seen as Rudraksh in the drama. Ever since its beginning, the show has maintained the hype, and is garnering eyeballs.

However, spin-off shows usually get a mixed response from the viewers, and it was no different for Yeh Hai Chahatein. In a recent interview with the Times of India, Sargun Luthra revealed how she was trolled when the show launched. She shared that people spread negativity as they wanted to see YHM duo, Divyanka Tripathi and Karan Patel. Yes! Sargun was trolled by the fans of Yeh Hai Mohabattein in the initial days of YHC’s release.

is currently playing the lead in the show Ye Hai Chahatein which is a spin-off series of the show Ye Hai Mohabbatein, which starred Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya and Karan Patel in the lead.
Even though Sargun has been a part of shows like Kaal Bhairav Rahasya, Mayavi Maling, and Tantra, she considers Ye Hai Chahatein as the turning point in her career. The fame this show has given her, no other show managed to do that.

Sharing some shocking details, Sargun said that people harassed her badly. She was bombarded with nasty comments by trolls for two to three months. The actress revealed that she used to block people immediately who sent nasty messages or comments, and her blocklist of Instagram is thus very long. “People said that they didn’t want to see Yeh Hai Chahatein and they want Divyanka Tripathi and Karan Patel back, stated Sargun Luthra.

However, a section of people also appreciated YHC. “Later the trolling stopped and more people started liking this show too,” she added.

Revealing how Yeh Hai Chahatein has been lucky for her, Sargun said that firstly it is a sequel of Ye Hai Mohabbatein which was a hit show. Also, it is the production house too is one that I wanted to work with. Sargun Luthra has been a part of shows like Kaal Bhairav Rahasya, Mayavi Maling, and Tantra, but she considers Yeh Hai Chahatein to be the turning point in her career.
