YRKKH: Mohsin Khan aka Kartik quips about playing a single father as he shoots with a doll

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (YRKKH) will see a big twist in its plotline soon. Mohsin Khan aka Kartik Goenka will have to part ways with his lady love Shivangi Joshi aka Naira. Mohsin will now play a single father in YRKKH. The handsome hunk recently opened up how it is like to play a single father. But given the current circumstances Mohsin will not be acting with a child artist but instead a doll!

Mohsin took to his Instagram account to share a picture with a baby doll wrapped up in a blue blanket. The actor will now play a single father in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai to no one but a doll. Mohsin’s fans are excited to see him embrace the new phase of his on-screen character’s life. But, they are also disheartened about Shivangi Joshi’s exit from the show.

In his post’s caption, Mohsin explained that he will play a single father to a doll. And that’s because they can’t have kids onset due to the Covid-19 restrictions. The actor wrote, “Playing A Single Father now…well…uhh.. to a doll. We can’t have kids shooting during covid I know it kinda looks like E.T(sic).”

Meanwhile, talking to Bollywood Bubble about Naira’s farewell, Shivangi Joshi said there is a big twist coming up in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Shivangi also said that she will miss playing the role of Naira a lot.“I miss Naira a lot. I feel you guys and understand the sentiments, your emotions that you have been attached to the character. I am myself attached given that I played it for over 4 and a half years and in these last few years, I was more Naira than Shivangi, so for me, it has been an emotional journey for me as well, “shared the actress.
