It’s rare to get a chance to be a part of something beautiful: Shivangi Joshi says as she bids farewell to Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai

One of the longest-running shows, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai will see some major changes now as the main leads Shivanhi Joshi and Mohsin Khan who were associated with the show for more than five years have now bid farewell to the show. Due to the new plotline, Shivangi and Mohsin’s characters have been discontinued; however, the attachment towards their onscreen character will forever be in their hearts. Mohsin had revealed that he is extremely attached to his role Kartik and will miss him. This time, Shivangi who essays the role of Naira/Sirat also has a different affection towards her character.

As bids farewell to the show, Joshi thinks it’s a rare chance to be part of this beautiful show. Talking about the same, Shivangi was quoted saying by Pinkvilla, “I will forever be grateful for the boundless love & affection I have received while playing Naira and Sirat (especially Naira) in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. To Rajan Shahi Sir, To Star Plus, to the Show, to my Co-Stars, and the incredible people who make it, thank you for giving me the finest memories & moments I could have ever asked for. Without all of you, I wouldn’t be the person I am today. It’s rare to get a chance to be a part of something that’s beautiful, historic, and incredible. And finally to our well-wishers, thank you for falling in love with Naira & Sirat and supporting our journey till the end. I’ll miss this more than anything.”

On the other hand, the producer of YRKKH, Rajan Shahi even penned a long and emotional note for his onscreen jodi Kartik and Naira on his Instagram. A part of the note read, “Mohsin and Shivangi who symbolise the best what a Jodi team together can achieve. Each moment every minute detail is fresh in my mind our first meeting..the day u were signed, the first outdoor, the first scene.”
