YRKKH fame Kanchi Singh tests COVID positive; says ‘have isolated myself’

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (YRKKH) fame Kanchi Singh, who was recently in Bhopal to shoot for her Bollywood debut Shukr-Dosh, has tested positive for Covid 19. Confirming the same on social media, Kanchi assured that she has isolated herself and is taking care of herself. She wrote, “Unfortunately I have tested positive for Covid-19. I have isolated myself and am in home quarantine. I am following all the safety protocols. To all of you out there, take care, stay safe, and truly don’t step out if you don’t have to! It’s time we come together by staying indoors and fight this virus! Love, Kanchi”.

Earlier, Kanchi made headlines after her rumoured split with long-time boyfriend Rohan Mehra. While the duo has confirmed anything, they reportedly unfollowed each other on social media leaving fans wondering about their relationship status. Post that, Kanchi has been focusing a lot on her health and personal time. after bagging her dream debut into films she has been super excited and working hard for it. She is aiming at undergoing a speedy recovery to resume her shoots again and ensure that work is not hampered in any possible way!

Apart from Kanchi, recently Anupamaa star Rupali Ganguly tested positive for COVID 19. She has mentioned that she is asymptomatic and has quarantined herself. Earlier in the week, Alia Bhatt also tested COVID positive. Following this, the shooting of Gangubai Khathiawadi has been stalled. Earlier, filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Ranbir Kapoor had tested COVID 19 positive. The cases in Maharashtra especially have been on a surge in the last 15 days. Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has been warning the citizens about the possibility of a lockdown if the rules are not followed.
