YRKKH new promo: Not Naira, Shivangi Joshi to be seen as a boxer; first look OUT

Shivangi Joshi as Naira received immense love in the show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (YRKKH). The actress recently opened up on the challenges she has overcomes in her last four and a half years as Naira and her reaction when told about the character’s end. Producer Rajan Shahi had been hinting at a new twist for viewers ever since it was known that Naira will be seen falling off the cliff on the show. Buzz was that Shivangi will return as a boxer and a new identity on YRKKH. Well, the new promo for the show reveals her first look as a boxer and it is sure to leave the loyal fans excited.

In the new promo, Kartik (Mohsin Khan) is seen running as he reiterates that he is finally coming to terms with Naira’s death and is trying to move on in life but her memories doesn’t let him. Parallely, Shivangi as a boxer is introduced in a tough avatar which we are sure looking forward to. The actress is seen in a professional boxing sports wear as she exhibits her strength. The little glimpse in itself has left us excited. Even as fans are unhappy with Naira’s exit, it is a huge relief for them to see their favourite Shivangi returning in a kickass new avatar.

Meanwhile, in an interview with us, Shivangi revealed that when she was told about the upcoming story and Naira’s death, she had tears in her eyes as she has lived that character for years now. She also revealed that her mother Yashoda Joshi had been an emotional mess when she saw the scene of her falling off the cliff. Shivangi and Mohsin as an onscreen couple Kaira have received lots of appreciation and fan following. The show recently celebrated 12 years of telecast and 3300 episodes. Producer Rajan Shahi performed a havan with all the cast and crew to celebrate the day.
